Straightforward motivator

Really like this app user-friendly great for beginners who are starting to run or for Advanced runners as well! Also like the online map your route option which is great to use for timing your certain routes you love to run!

Needs improvement for competition planning

I wanted to like this app however, after three attempts to set up my plan, I simply quit trying. Despite entering a target time and current running routine, it would not get to the desired plan. (I was aiming for a 22 minute 5k, already being capable of 2 miles in 13 minutes, this doesnt seem unreasonable). Instead, it showed my target time as 9min miles come race day five months in the future. Whats worse, it didnt mention that it wasnt even close to my goal! Simply put, needs improvement

Running buddy

I have always found Asics to be my running shoe of choice. They know what kind of feet I have and how to help propel me to each step I take. Therefore, trying the App was a sure thing. I have used it for each run Ive done and I like looking at my progress. I use it mainly to see the distance I run and what pace I seem to be keeping. Id like to know my heart rate and calories burned but Im satisfied with this App. Its simple but has many options. I need to see how it trains me next:)

Poorly built

Can you at the least QA the software before releasing? It shows Feb 2016 with two 20th dates- first time I tried to use- now Im deleting. Ram

Mom of two boys!

Very good app I am using it to get back in shape after having two kids! Email reminders of runs really helps me stay on track!

Best running

Easy to use with an iPhone has every feature you need. You call tell runners designed this app.

Nice app! I like that it gives split times too!

Training, 5k, 10k and half marathon

This so is a good tool/ guide to prepare for an event. No complaints and it doesnt send you "negative" pop ups when you miss a work out!

Great Motivation!!!!

Im a avid procrastinator and this keeps me motivated and on track!

Needs Improvement

Id like a way to log what time I ran and what the temperature, but theres no feature for that. They could fix this by putting in a "notes/memo" section when entering the runs where I could put my thoughts.

Great app- one suggestion/hope

Wish the training plan would adjust based on current times- i.e. If Im running 8:30 miles rather than the 9 I predicted I could do when I set up the plan, the plan would adjust accordingly and the estimated time of my race would reduce

App review

The app kept me on track and is very easy to use for a new runner!

Perfect for training for beginner/intermediates

This is perfect if you are beginning to intermediate. Im not advanced, so I couldnt review for that. I love that you put in the event/end date and it tracks all your runs via gps so you have a good idea if you are meeting your goals. I use this with my Garmin to monitor my progress towards my goals.

Good, could be even better

For the most part I really like this app. It allows me to choose how many days I want to run, and keeps me on track for training. I would love it even more with these changes: ability to reschedule training days on the fly on the app; more seamless syncing; and the ability to train for a half in less than 12 weeks depending on the mileage I can do at the beginning of the plan. But all in all, the app is easy to use, lets me see what Ive done and where Im going.

Good not Great

5/5 Run Planner 4/5 GPS/Map 3/5 Overall App Functionality 3/5 Integration As someone who runs open road on a small island, map accuracy is very important to me and I have found this GPS/Map quality very good. What I am very disappointed about is the integration to other apps, I have friends on Nike+,Fitbit, Garmin Connect and the list goes on... We need some interconnectivity going on to ensure I continue using this app and using here to log my runs vs another app. If you dont need that.. And you are planning a C25k or first half marathon, this app is for you.

Out performs Map my run!!

Great program close to my Garmin watch with accuracy. Left map my run for this app!

Another great concept that was poorly executed.

The idea of this app is phenomenal. My wife and I are using the app to train for a half marathon and the planning piece of the app is great. Until you take it for a run..the most major bug is when you are running and the app blips like a heart rate monitor. It looks like I ran a quarter mile off course even though we didnt. This blip adds the quarter mile distance you didnt run and if you arent looking at the app you wont know it happened until you turn around and finish your run and notice you are a quarter mile short. Super annoying. You also can see the information on your run unless you unlock it. If the phone is strapped to your arm this makes for an annoying fumble. I hope they fix it.

Pretty good

I like the app so far, but wish there was a voice notice of half mile increments for odd distances.

Needs improvement

The app is quite user friendly and the training plans are the best of any app Ive used for sure! Used it to train for my first half marathon and killed it. That being said, the gps/mapping is not very accurate giving wildly different numbers sometimes for the same run! It would also be great if the app could recognize a pause in running especially for runners in a city environment who have to deal with traffic lights and the like. Makes it so much easier to concentrate on just running as opposed to fiddling with the phone.

Update Please

I wish the run data automatically synced with my Apple health app. Also I constantly have a red notification on the app and I cannot find out how to clear it. Other than that I really like this app. I was able to use it to move from not running at all to running 3 miles. I had to reset the plan several times because I felt like I needed to grow incrementally and some of the jumps like from 1 mile to 2 miles the first time were too much for me. So I just put in my own one and a half miles sometimes.
